The Place - A True Retreat CenterOur home for the week is a 17th century Masseria, or fortified farmhouse, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland as far as the eye can see. The stone buildings are typical of the era, and are built around two centuries-old olive trees.
The main building houses our expansive yoga room, complete with a vaulted ceiling, all the necessities for your practice, and lots of natural light and birdsong. The lodging includes private cottages for those traveling together, and private rooms for those traveling solo. Two lounges, a dining area, a beautiful patio and pool, and original labyrinth garden complete the property. Meditate as you wander through the olive groves, and down the farm roads that surround us. |
