In addition to being a business owner, Karen has a BS in Psychology from Barnard College/Columbia University; an MBA from Columbia University; an MS in Nutrition; and is in the process of completing four + years of study to become a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor. She has also studied Herbalism with David Winston for 3 years; and completed Ayurvedic Lifestyle Certification (at Kripalu in Lenox MA). Karen is passionate about the body’s natural ability to be vital and well, and to restore hemodynamics after it is thrown out of balance by all the stressors of day to day living. Karen is the proud mother of 5 children and 5 grandchildren; and loves yoga, walking in nature, playing Ticket to Ride, libraries and museums and this amazing community. Let’s take a journey together on exploring the natural and sometimes “free” ways that we can keep our bodies in balance this Winter.
