Yoga Nidra for Honoring the Personal Journey, Thursday 12/16
Life contains infinite possibilities. There are many choices to make each and every day. We must truly be mindful to see how are choices can effect our lives and the lives of others. Through our yoga practice we learn about balance. We learn to see choices through clear, unprejudiced eyes, employing our followed path with love.
Join us for a Nidra that will guide you to trust and follow your intuition in choosing a journey through life that is honoring truth, and love. A journey that is all your own.
Here is a bit more information about the practice of Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra takes us effortlessly into a state of harmonious, restful being. From this state we can be healed, restored and awakened to our deepest, all-knowing, all-welcoming self.
It is done lying down and props are used to get the practitioner into the most comfortable position. This practice is also know as yogic sleep. The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.
