108 Sun Salutations to Celebrate Solstice, Tuesday 6/21 *Moved In Studio*
6:00pm
*This practice has been moved in studio because of rain*
It is a tradition for us here at LAM to celebrate the first day of summer by flowing through 108 Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutations. Do you have to do all 108? Nope. You can set an intention to do them all, but do not feel you have to do all 108! We'll take a break half way through to jump in the river and lay down and look up at the trees and sky. Just join us to be together if you want.
108 is considered a sacred number.
There are 108 beads on a mala used for meditation. The diameter of the sun is 108 times the earth. Tibetans have 108 Holy books. Many Hindu and Buddhist temples have 108 steps. The prehistoric monument in England, Stonehenge is 108 feet in diamenter!
108 Sun Salutations are often practiced in yoga to honor change. We can honor the changing of the seasons and to bring inner peace to ourselves and share that peace with our world.
We welcome you to use your class pass or reserve for $15

LAM YOGA AGREEMENT OF RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER
I hereby agree that I am participating in a yoga class at LAM Yoga, during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga. I recognize that yoga requires physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
Although strict measures are being taken by LAM Yoga to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (such as social distancing and deep sanitization), I acknowledge that attending classes could result in COVID-19 infection. I assume any risk, take full responsibility and waive any claims of personal injury or COVID-19 infection associated with LAM Yoga.
I agree that I will not participate in any Yoga class if I have reason to believe I may be contagious, including, but not limited to, the coronavirus. I understand symptoms associated with the coronavirus include shortness of breath or difficulty breathing or dry cough, or at least two of the following: repeated shaking with chills, fever, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
I also understand that if I am exhibiting any of these symptoms, or if LAM personnel otherwise have reason to believe I may be carrying the coronavirus or that I am contagious in any way, I may be asked to leave and not return until at least 14 days after the symptoms disappear.
I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the yoga class. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in a yoga class.
In consideration of being in a yoga class, I agree to assume all responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the yoga class.
I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I have against LAM Yoga, for injury or damages I may sustain during, or as a result of participating in the yoga class. I, my heirs, or legal representative forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue LAM Yoga (this includes LAM Yoga’s, instructors, employees, agents and representatives) for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts.
LAM Yoga is not responsible for any personal belongings I bring to or leave at the studio.
I attest that I am over 18 years of age.
I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
If any others attend classes at LAM Yoga under a reservation in my name, I attest that they have also agreed to the terms and conditions stated above.
