Yoga Nidra is often referred to as yogic sleep because the practice induces a deeply relaxing state of consciousness and hypnagogic state. You will remain aware while your body and mind are able to profoundly rest during this guided, all-level practice.
What are you holding onto that you might be able to release? The intention of this Nidra is for emotional release and healing. This is a transitional time of year, as the colors of summer have faded and the leaves start to change color and blanket the earth. Children go back to school. The pace of life changes and we feel the transition to go inward now and begin our wintering.
We provide blankets and bolsters but gently suggest bringing your own comfy pillows or your favorite blanket as you create your cozy Nidra nest.
*We also gently recommend eating a light meal prior to practice. Bring a journal to jot down anything you might want to explore further. If you live with other people let them know that you will need a bit of space once you get home. Wear comfy clothing.
Tea will be served directly after practice to sip while you gently process your experience.

LAM YOGA AGREEMENT OF RELEASE OF LIABILITY WAIVER
I hereby agree that I am participating in a yoga class at LAM Yoga, during which I will receive information and instruction about yoga. I recognize that yoga requires physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
I agree to assume all responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the yoga class.
I agree that I will not participate in any Yoga class if I have reason to believe I may be contagious, including, but not limited to, COVID-19. I assume any risk, take full responsibility and waive any claims of personal injury or COVID-19 infection associated with LAM Yoga.
I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I have against LAM Yoga, or any of its teachers, for injury or damages I may sustain during, or as a result of participating in the yoga class.
I, my heirs, or legal representative forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue LAM Yoga (this includes LAM Yoga’s, instructors, employees, agents and representatives) for any injury or death.
LAM Yoga is not responsible for any personal belongings I bring to or leave at the studio.
I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents. I voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions stated above.
If any others attend classes at LAM Yoga under a reservation in my name, I attest that they have also agreed to the terms and conditions stated above.
